Arizona Home Owner Insurance

Our goal is to find you the best Arizona Home Owner Insurance price possible.

But there is much more to your insurance policy than just the premium. We also want to ensure you have the right coverage to fit your needs. The following is a list of primary items and options found on a home owner policy.

Dwelling Amount

We use a popular software program called Marshall-Boeck, which helps us to calculate the amount of coverage needed to protect your home. While this software is accurate we also realize that the cost of building materials is also increasing. The Arizona wildfires from a couple of years ago left some home owner’s realizing their homes were underinsured. If you are our client, do not hesitate to have us re-calculate your home insurance amount no more than every one or two years. Since we have many clients we ask each client to contact us upon receiving their renewal notice.

Liability Protection

This coverage protects you should someone get hurt on your property and you are found negligent. It is generally a fairly inexpensive coverage. Ask for at least $300,000 or $500,000.

Medical Coverage

Pays out should someone get hurt and need medical attention. Medical coverage is typically a low cost item. We recommend taking a high amount because it is wise to have decent coverage, but also because it usually is a low cost item.

Water Back Up

You don’t see anyone else discussing this “optional” coverage. But we believe everyone should add it to their policy. If a water pipe in your house breaks, the damages are covered. But what happens if your toilet simply overflowed? Not covered. Water damage, no matter how it happens, can be a very costly endeavor.

Scheduled Personal Property

You may have jewelry, paintings or other collectibles that have intrinsic value. Unless you “schedule” them on your home owner policy you may not get the true value in the event of a loss. In the case of jewelry, which has severe limits on nearly every home policy, you absolutely need to ask about adding them to your policy as a scheduled item.

Umbrella Insurance

The reason we added this item to your home policy is because it usually is added as an endorsement under the policy. An Umbrella policy gives you added protection over and above the liability limits you receive on your home and auto policy. A typical Umbrella policy is for $1,000,000.

If someone is hurt on your property or you injure someone in an auto accident, an Umbrella policy can give you lots of extra coverage. It helps ensure you won’t have to liquidate your personal assets or have someone garnish your wages.

Video Taping

Ok, so this is not an endorsement. But video taping the contents inside your home is wise. It helps you and the insurance company when it comes to replacing your lost personal property. Just make sure you keep the tape somewhere besides in your home, or else it could be destroyed in the event of a total loss.

We compare rates with lots of different carriers to find our clients the best rate we can. Providing excellent customer service is also very important to us. I hope you give us an opportunity to serve you.
